I would like to see any one who makes fun of guard throw a rifle in the air, have it spin four times and then catch in again without breaking an arm. Or even go through one of our three hour practices, with three coaches breathing down your back watching your every move.
Also, some people have said lately that they might do guard next year because it "looks good for college". I have only been in guard a few months, but I love it more than anything. It's my passion. Honestly, it's the one thing I look forward to anymore. School sucks, home is ehh, social life in non existant.
Long story short, I love guard. And you know, I have my ex-boyfriends parents to thank. By telling me I should try guard, they gave me the best thing ever.
